| When working at a computer: |
- Your eyes should be level with the top of the computer screen.
- Elbows should be at an angle of 90° when using a keyboard.
- Computer Screen should be straight in front of the body, not to the side.
- Your chair should be height adjustable and have a back support.
- Hips should be slightly higher than the Knees to ensure the spines natural S shape.
- Feet must be flat on the floor – if this is not possible use a foot rest.
- Use a CPU Holder to avoid unnecessary postural movement and loading when inserting discs or USB sticks
- Rest – Take regular breaks from work and move around where possible.
- Your computer screen should be placed 90° from the window to avoid glare.
- Use a keyboard wrist support and a tracker ball instead of a mouse.
